TripKarao is a travel marketplace for Pakistan that brings trips, activities, and visa help into one place. People come in wanting to plan a journey, whether that's a multi-day tour through Gilgit Baltistan or a Schengen visa enquiry, and the site is built to take them from browsing to a booked trip without leaving the platform.

The challenge.
Travel planning in Pakistan was scattered across agents, WhatsApp threads, and word of mouth. Curated tours, local activities, and visa paperwork all lived in different places, so travelers had no single trusted source. The goal was one site that could hold detailed trip itineraries, bookable activities by region, and visa information for dozens of countries, all with real checkout.
What we built.
We built the platform on Next.js and TypeScript with a Node.js backend. Trips, activities, and visa destinations are modeled as their own content types so each can carry its own detail page, itinerary, and enquiry flow. The interface centers on search and regional filtering, maps for location context, and a booking flow that runs through bSecure checkout. Visa enquiries route to dedicated per-country forms.

The about experience and homepage set the tone for the platform. We organized the services into tour packages, transportation and lodging, and experiences, then backed it up with a gallery of previous trips so the brand feels grounded in actual journeys rather than stock promises.

Trips and Visa
Browsing trips and booking a full itinerary
The Trips section lets people search and explore packages, then open a detailed trip page with the day by day plan, duration, group size, pricing, a calendar to pick dates, facilities, and a cancellation policy. The visa pages follow the same pattern for Schengen and other countries, each with its own enquiry form.

Destination guides and legal pages
Beyond bookings, the site publishes destination guides like the Germany feature, written to help travelers picture a trip before they commit. We also handled the structural pages, including terms and conditions, so the platform reads as a complete, trustworthy business.

Discovery
From homepage search to featured trips
The homepage leads with a search bar for trips and activities, then surfaces featured trips like Turkey, Azerbaijan, Thailand, and Malaysia alongside places to visit in Pakistan by region. A visa entry point sits right on the homepage so international travelers find help quickly.
